Please save the date of Saturday, September 28th, 2024 for the wedding of
Enrique Veronica Jr. & Sarah Diane Barrios.

While we have gone back and forth about what we envisioned this special day to be, a recent tragic event has really put life into perspective. While we once envisioned a very large wedding, in a beautiful venue, with about 200 guests, we have decided to pare back and have a smaller, more intimate wedding with just our very closest family and friends.

In mid December we lost our brother Paul, unexpectedly, leaving us an empty feeling that we know too well since the passing of our mom, Esperanza, in 2021. While it has been really hard to process the end of both their lives , it has really made us think about our life, not only how we choose to live it but who we choose to live it with and who we want to share this wonderful life moment with.

When loved ones pass this automatic list goes through your head of people you need to notify immediately, who you need to make sure find out directly from the immediate family and not through social media or someone else. As we sit and think about who those automatic list of people are for ourselves, we decided those are the handful of people that we would like to be surrounded by on our wedding day.

Our ceremony will take place in the childhood home of Sarah and the reception will follow at our beautiful home that we have created together. Our guest count is now a quarter of our original total and even though our vision has changed, we know it will still be a spectacular day.
